- "Armored" Scrats was added in the game in Update 26 - Barrel Roll (26 Apr, 2017)
- In Update 67 - Give it up for House Valor! (31 May, 2018) the attack speed of Armored Scrats was reduced from 1.2s to 1s (DPS increased from 16 to 20)
- In Update 1.3 (17 Jul, 2019) "Armored" Scrats received the following changes:
- Health reduced from 90 to 60
- Count increased from 3 to 4
- In Update 1.11 (26 Mar, 2020) "Armored" scrats received the following changes:
- Reworked: instead of dying, turn into a regular scrat
- (The card now summons regular scrats but with Barrel Shield)
- Damage reduced from 20 to 10
- Reworked: instead of dying, turn into a regular scrat
- In Update 1.15 (30 Jul, 2020) Barrel shield's health was reduced from 60 to 50.
- In Update 1.19 (3 Dec, 2020) "Armored" Scrats received the following changes:
- Barrel shield's health was increased from 50 to 60
- Count reduced from 4 to 3.
- In Update 1.39 - Slithery Sacrifices (September 1, 2022), the attack cooldown of Scrats was increased from 1 second to 1.1 seconds.
- In Update 2.0 - Mountain Song (December 12, 2023), the rarity of "Armored Scrats" was changed from Common to Rare.
