- Rabid Prowler was added in Update 74 - Season of Raging Heat (15 Aug, 2018) as a season card as part of the Season of Raging Heat, with the initial ability: Gain Frenzy if a friendly minion has Rage.
- In Update 78 - Guardians of the Crystal Spire (9 Oct, 2018), Rabid Prowler was changed to also start with Rage besides the Frenzy if you control another minion with Rage.
- In Update 80 (24 Oct, 2018) Rabid Prowler was changed to no longer gain Frenzy if you control another minion with Rage.
- In Update 1.4 - Sand Wars Expansion! (15 Aug, 2019) Rabid Prowler was reworked:
- Now has the new Sacrifice keyword, which kills all friendly Slitherbound, and gains Rage if at least 1 was killed.
- Now also has Call Slitherbound.
- In Update 1.17 - Dawn Marshall Valorian (24 Sep, 2020) Sacrifice was changed to only sacrifice the necessary amount of Slitherbound.
- In Update 1.23 - Outlandish Operations (21 April, 2021) Rabid Prowler received the following changes:
- Sacrifice increased from 1 to 2.
- Sacrifice now gives Berserker's Rage instead of Rage.
- In Update 1.30 - Malediction (25 November, 2021), Rabid Prowler received the following changes:
- Sacrifice reduced from 2 to 1.
- Call Slitherbound removed.
- In Update 1.33 - Invasion (3 March 2022), Rabid Prowler's health was increased from 310 to 350.
- In Update 1.37 - Kaboom Kingdom (July 7, 2022), Berserker's Rage was changed so that minions affected by it no longer inflict self-damage.
- In Update 1.40 - Torment (13 October 2022), the Sacrifice requirement was increased from 1 to 2.
- In Update 2.2 - Commander's Blade (March 6 2024), Rabid Prowler received the following changes:
- Sacrifice requirement reduced from 2 to 1
- Now gains Rage instead of Berserker's Rage
