- Zap Shrine was added in Update 92 - Zen-Chi Zap (17 Apr, 2019) as a season card as part of the Zen-Chi Zap Battle Pass
- In Update 1.21 (4 Feb, 2021) Zap Shrine received the following changes:
- Zen-Chi Flow stun duration reduced from 3s to 2s
- Health increased from 75 to 100
- In Update 1.26 - Best Plan NO PLAN! (1 July, 2021), the mana cost of Zap Shrine was increased from 3 to 4.
- In Update 1.28 - Malediction (20 September, 2021), Zap Shrine was changed so that only 1 copy of it can be used in a Team Battles deck.
- In Update 1.32 - Invasion (3 February, 2022), Zap Shrine received the following changes:
- Mana cost reduced from 4 to 3
- Range reduced from 25 to 20
- In Update 1.40 - Torment (13 October 2022), Zap Shrine's attack now deals 25 damage (instead of dealing no damage and just stunning)
- In Update 1.43 - Furry Fury (5 January, 2023), Zap Shrine received the following changes:
- Stun duration on attack increased from 2 to 3
- Building duration reduced from 25 to 16 seconds
- Range reduced from 20 to 18
- In Update 1.48 - Shroom Season (June 22, 2023), Zap Shrine received the following changes:
- Duration reduced from 16 to 12 seconds
- Now hits 2 targets instead of 1
